Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using VedicSync ("Platform"), operated by VedicSync AI Private Limited ("Company", "we", "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

2. Description of service

VedicSync provides:

• Vedic astrological chart generation using VedicSync's proprietary Vedic engine (Lahiri Ayanamsa, validated against Swiss Ephemeris and Jagannatha Hora, the professional standards for serious Jyotish software).
• AI-powered interpretation and guidance using verified chart data.
• Relational astrology dashboards for families, business teams, and matchmaking.
• Daily intelligence (Daily Alignment, Weekly Pulse) tailored to your chart and location.
• 19 specialised reports spanning individual, two-person, family, and business needs.

VedicSync is an AI-only service. All guidance is generated by an AI system. We do not offer human astrologers, expert consultations, or bookable sessions.

3. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
• Parents/guardians may add children's birth details to their own account for family astrology purposes.
• You must provide accurate birth details for chart calculations to be meaningful.

4. Account responsibilities

• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
• You must not share your account or provide access to unauthorized persons.
• You must promptly notify us of any unauthorized use at hello@vedicsync.ai.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose.
• Add birth details of other individuals without their consent (except for minor children under your guardianship).
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the Platform.
• Use automated tools, bots, or scrapers to access the Platform.
• Abuse, overload, or attempt to manipulate the AI system or VedicSync staff.
• Misrepresent your identity or provide false birth details for fraudulent purposes.
• Reproduce, distribute, or publicly display VedicSync content without permission.

6. Pricing and payments

• Lite (free): A monthly allotment of credits at no charge, plus free Daily Alignment, Weekly Pulse, and an included birth chart report.
• Pro (₹399/month): A larger monthly credit allotment plus relational features.
• Max (₹999/month): The largest monthly credit allotment plus full access for families and business owners.
• Credits: AI interactions consume credits (for example, Ask Saarthi, timing checks, and generated reports). Each paid tier's monthly credits reset at the start of the billing cycle and do not roll over.
• Top-up credits: You may purchase additional credit packs (e.g. 100 credits for ₹499) at any time. Top-up credits never expire.
• Subscriptions renew automatically each billing cycle until cancelled. You may cancel at any time; see our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
• Currency: Prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) via Razorpay; international users are charged in USD via Stripe.
• Taxes: Prices are inclusive of applicable GST.

7. AI service and credits

• All guidance on VedicSync is generated by an AI system (Anthropic Claude) using your verified chart data as input. We do not provide human astrologers or consultations.
• AI guidance is based on Vedic astrological principles and should not be treated as professional medical, legal, financial, or psychological advice.
• AI interactions consume credits from your monthly allotment and any top-up balance. Credits are deducted when an interaction is delivered.
• AI output may occasionally be inaccurate, incomplete, or unexpected; you are responsible for how you act on it.
• You must not attempt to misuse, overload, or manipulate the AI system, including attempts to extract prompts or generate disallowed content.

8. Intellectual property

• The VedicSync name, logo, design system, and platform code are our intellectual property.
• AI-generated reports and interpretations are provided for your personal use only.
• You retain ownership of your personal data (birth details, conversations).
• You may not reproduce, resell, or publicly distribute VedicSync-generated content for commercial purposes without written permission.

10. Limitation of liability

• VedicSync is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
• We do not guarantee the accuracy of astrological interpretations or predictions.
• We are not liable for decisions made based on VedicSync guidance.
• Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the preceding 12 months.
• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.

11. Service availability

• We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access.
• Scheduled maintenance will be communicated in advance when possible.
• Third-party service outages (Supabase, Anthropic, Google, Razorpay, Stripe, Vercel) may temporarily affect functionality.

12. Termination

• You can delete your account from within the app or by emailing hello@vedicsync.ai. This permanently removes your data except where law requires limited retention.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
• Upon termination, any unused subscription or top-up credits are forfeited and non-refundable (see Refund Policy).
• Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (limitation of liability, intellectual property, dispute resolution) shall survive.

13. Modifications to terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be notified via email or in-app notification at least 15 days before taking effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

14. Governing law and disputes

• These Terms are governed by the laws of India.
• Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka.
• Before litigation, parties agree to attempt resolution through good-faith discussion for at least 30 days.
